Your child needs a quiet place to study that is free from distractions. Choose an area away from the places your child usually plays. Make sure your children have some place to store supplies when not in use.

Know when to take a day. If your methods are not working or if you are not getting the results you were hoping for, pushing it will not work. Look for other ways to teach them on that subject. You could try a tutor, online apps or even online tutors to get through. If you continue to push them too hard they will grow frustrated.
